Recognised for the quality of its helmets and its inovantion, the German brand is developing its number one helmet and is offering the first modular helmet on the market with the new CE ECE 22.06 approval that will soon come into force, which obliges helmet manufacturers to offer even more protective helmets for the road or the circuit.

For 2022, the German manufacturer is offering the Schuberth C5 Eclipse modular helmet, which now has the dual jet and full-face approval that was missing on the C4 and C4 Pro.

As usual, Schuberth has developed its flagship product in terms of comfort and soundproofing, whether on a GT, a trail/adventure or even a roadster.

Material:

• The outer shell is constructed from DFP fibreglass and reinforced with carbon, which offers not only exemplary protection but also reduced weight for a helmet of this type.

Safety:

• The inner shell is made of dual density EPS for optimal energy absorption in case of impact.

Aerodynamics:

• The helmet has been developed in a wind tunnel to guarantee a helmet with good stability, good air penetration to relieve the neck and above all this has optimised the soundproofing which is 85 Dba at 100 km/h on a roadster.

Chinrest:

• The chinrest can be opened to -90º.
• Easy opening thanks to the button on the bottom of the chinrest, even with thick winter gloves.
• The locking system is reinforced with fiberglass for better durability and superior protection.

Interior:

• The seamless interior is fully removable and washable made of Öko-Tex 100 certified anti-bacterial and quick-drying Coolmax® fabric.
• The new rear neck guard provides perfect sound insulation.
• Individual Concept" allows the interior to be modified by choosing the thickness of the cheeks and the headpiece only for sizes M, L or XL.
• Passage provided for spectacle wearers.

Visors:

• The clear visor has a wide field of vision with anti-scratch treatment and is pre-disposed to receive a Pinlock which is sold with the helmet.
• The outer visor has a quick and easy removal system and is equipped with the patented memory lock mechanism, which allows you to have your visor half open and then open and close the chin strap so that the visor stays in the same position without having to manipulate it once more to return it to the half open position.
• The inner smoke shield is easy to handle, scratch resistant and has a "city" position which positions the shield so that it does not obstruct the field of vision.

Ventilation:

• The chinrest is equipped with a double adjustable air inlet and a replaceable and washable filter that limits the infiltration of dirt and limits the formation of fog.
• A large air inlet on the top of the helmet and a rear extractor for optimal air circulation throughout the helmet.

Other features:

• The Schuberth C5 is pre-equipped for the optional SC2 communication system.

Chin strap:

• Micrometric buckle closure with anti-roll off system (A.R.O.S).
