The Dainese Antartica 2 Gore-Tex long jacket has been specially designed to protect you from the worst weather conditions. It is a pure concentrate of technology to guarantee optimal protection against the elements while remaining soft and comfortable to wear.
The outer layer is made of technical materials such as nylon 6.6 fabric and TRIXIOR D-TEC reinforcements on the most exposed parts to guarantee optimal resistance to tearing and abrasion.
To stay dry, the Antartica, 2 Gore-Tex is equipped with a new generation Gore-Tex 2L laminated membrane which, in addition to its great waterproofing power, guarantees excellent breathability when the temperatures become milder.
In order to fight effectively against the cold, Dainese has equipped this jacket with a removable thermal lining made of goose feathers with a swelling factor of 700 for perfect insulation from the cold even when temperatures are negative.
Of course, like all jackets on the market, the Antartica is equipped with approved elbow and shoulder protectors and can be fitted with an optional approved back protector.

Material:

- The elbows and shoulders are equipped with the comfortable and effective Pro-Armor protections which are CE EN 1621-1 level 2 type B approved.
- The back and chest can be fitted with optional protectors.
- Reflective inserts to remain perfectly visible at night or in bad weather.
Comfort:
- The arms are pre-shaped to increase comfort and reduce fatigue on long journeys.
- Large removable storm collar.

- Internal lumbar support belt to support the lumbar region on long journeys.
- The cuffs have a large neoprene insert to ensure more comfort and allow for easy slip on into long gloves and to limit wind catch when using the jacket with short gloves.
Fit:
- Anti-flap system at the biceps to limit flapping when removing the warm lining and for a perfect fit.
- The cuffs in addition to the neoprene armholes are equipped with a zip for easy donning.

- 2 large hand pockets on the front of the jacket, 100% waterproof.
- 2 mesh pockets on the sides so you can slip your gloves in when you stop.
- Idraflap main closure system with textile flap lining to limit infiltration.
