Alpinestars is making a dramatic entry into the full-face helmet market with the launch of its first model, the Alpinestars Supertech R10 Solid.

Safety is at the heart of its design, with a high-density 3K carbon fibre shell, a unidirectional carbon composite layer, an aramid fibre layer and a multi-layer fibreglass layer providing maximum protection.

Its ventilation system ensures optimum comfort by directing air upwards and stabilising airflow with side fins.

Exceptional visibility is also offered, with a lateral field of vision of 220° and a vertical field of vision of 57°.

This helmet is designed for the most demanding riders, with special attention paid to every detail to deliver an incomparable riding experience.

Material:

• The innovative outer shell is constructed from 3K high-density carbon, a composite layer of unidirectional carbon, a layer of aramid fibre and a layer of fibreglass to provide the perfect balance of strength, energy dissipation and protection against penetration.

Safety:

• Multi-density EPS inner foams for optimum energy absorption in the event of an impact.
• Foam release system for easy helmet removal by emergency services.
• Lower shell profile designed to protect the collarbone in the event of a violent impact with a softer EPP (expanded polypropylene) liner that extends beyond the helmet shell and is covered by a flexible rubber compound.
• Improved management of oblique and linear rotational force, which considerably reduces the amount of force transmitted to the head, neck, brain and spine.
• For direct linear impacts, the helmet exceeds the standard by an average of 37%.
• For rotational acceleration and oblique impact performance, the helmet exceeds the standard by 65%.

Aerodynamics:

• The shape of the helmet has been developed to ensure excellent stability at high speeds and to take the strain off the neck.
• Side spoilers improve stability allowing a further 4.54% reduction in drag thanks to the racing spoiler and spoiler configuration.

Interior:

• Comfortable 3D laminated inner foams are covered with anti-bacterial, anti-transpiration and quick-drying fabric.
• Patented A-Head adjustment system for adjusting the height and angle of the helmet on the head.

Screen:

• Very wide field of vision screen with 220° side vision and 57° vertical vision for perfect visibility, optical class 1, 1.6 mm thick on the sides and up to 2.6 mm thick in the centre, with anti-scratch treatment and pre-disposed to receive an anti-fog Pinlock which is supplied with the helmet.
• Quick and easy removal system with metal locking levers to prevent detachment on impact.
• Sealing system to effectively reduce noise levels inside the helmet.

Ventilation:

• 7 air inlets and 4 rear extractors for optimum ventilation and to stabilise the helmet at high speeds.
• The air inlets are adjustable to effectively manage the flow of air into the helmet.

Chin strap:

• Double D buckle closure.

• Pre-arranged to receive a hydration system, which is sold as an option.
